Event Description:

Wild Winter Lights presented by NOPEC at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo featuring a holiday lighting display featuring more than 1 million lights — will begin Nov. 19th, zoo officials announced Monday. It will continue through Jan. 3.

The event features several holiday- themed displays, including Candyland, an ''enchanted forest,'' a conservation trail and Santa's workshop. Visitors will be able to see the displays on foot or from their vehicles, zoo officials said.

There also are walk-through displays, carousel rides, costume characters, model train displays, ice carvers, live music from choirs including the Singing Angels, and a light show featuring a 50-foot tree.

The number of guests will be limited because of the pandemic, so zoo officials say visitors should purchase tickets in advance. Guests 6 years old and older must wear facial coverings if they're walking through the zoo, but not for the drivethru event. However, people on the drivethru tour are asked to wear masks when interacting with zoo workers. Drive-thru visits are from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays beginning Nov. 17. Tickets for the driving tour are $54 per car for zoo members and $60 per car for nonmembers.

The walking tour is 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursdays through Sundays beginning Nov. 19. Tickets are $18 for zoo members and $20 for nonmembers. A four-pack is $54 for members and $60 for nonmembers. Children under 2 are admitted for free.
