Mark your calendars, Cleveland's Finest Hors D'Oeuvre Contest, a benefit for Our Lady of the Wayside presented by Zito Insurance Agency, Inc., will be celebrating its 26th Anniversary Thursday, April 2nd at Progressive Field’s Discount Drug Mart Club, a fantastic culinary competition where YOU choose the winner!

Hosted by Cleveland’s Star 102’s Jen Toohey and Tim Richards, guests will have the opportunity to sample delicious hors d'oeuvres from 13 of Cleveland's best chefs, then vote for their favorite dish. There will be plenty of wine and beer tastings during the course of the event, a table of great silent auction items along with a performance by Elite Dreams.

This year’s fabulous line-up of chefs and restaurants include: Berea Depot (Chef Scott Ita), Cleveland Chop (Chef Dave Gutfranski), Corleone’s Ristorante & Bar (Chef Marlon Mayorga), Element 41 (Chef Paul Mendolera), Hilton Garden Inn (Chef Joseph Novak), Mallorca (Chef Eleazar), Metro 45 Café and Catering (Chef Scott Teaman), Progressive Culinary Team (Chef Josh Ingraham), Sodexo at University Hospitals (Chef John Selick), Tartine Bistro (Chef Michael Grieve), Tree House/Clifton Barn (Chef Genevieve Larson), The Woods Restaurant (Chefs Thomas Piribek/Alberta Monteleone), and Zack Bruell Events (Chef Al Ives).

The $80 admission includes fine wine selections from Amicone, Bacio Della Luna Rose, Clara C Pinot Grigio, Masso Antico Italian Zinfandel, il miogusto Melonsecco and Limonsecco; beer samplings provided by Platform Beer Co. ; as well as bakery selections from Cupcake Cravings (Chef Brenda Bals), and Simply Vintage Bakery Cafe and Simply Elegant Catering (Chef Stacey Stoudemire).

Proceeds benefit Our Lady of the Wayside, which provides residential, transportation, nursing and day program services for nearly 1,000 children and adults with developmental disabilities. 900 Employees strong, the agency manages nearly 100 homes in over 45 communities throughout Northeast Ohio.
