Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson will soon be sworn in to serve an unprecedented fourth term.

Jackson defeated City Councilman Zack Reed yesterday with 59-percent of the vote to become the longest-serving mayor in the city’s history.

Jackson ran on a platform of keeping Cleveland in line for more growth under the formula of his first three terms.
