Jen & Tim Show is a proud partner of UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital – after all, we bring you Radiothon every year, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for the kids at Rainbow.

Here’s another way to raise awareness – and funds – for Rainbow. Specifically, to raise money, awareness and support for the advancement of pediatric oncology research and to bettering the lives of children with cancer.

Emily’s Rainbow Run will be held at Westlake High School on Sunday, April 19th.

The run is a 4 mile race and 2 mile run/walk that starts at 8 am. It’s $20 for pre-registration and $25 the day of. Strollers are welcomed and it’s only $10 for kids run at 9:15!

Also, there will be a Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast for only $5.

The run is named in memory of Emily Lewis, who was diagnosed with a type of kidney cancer in 2006. She was only 9 years old. Emily battled for 3 years, enduring painful treatments and chemotherapy.

On August 8, 2009, Emily lost her battle with cancer, after fighting courageously for so long.

Help preserve her memory by participating in Emily’s Rainbow Run!
