Providence House Breaks Ground On Expansion

The Crisis Nursery in Ohio City will add a 7,000 square foot wing, along with a new Family Intervention center. President and CEO Natalie Leek-Nelson says the project will allow Providence House to meet new state requirements and care for several more children who are in crisis.

The Shades of Blue luncheon last April at the Renaissance Hotel featured Plain Dealer Columnist Regina Brett. She talked about the inspiring stories in her latest book, Be the Miracle, 50 Lessons for Making the Impossible Possible.

April was Child Abuse Prevention month.  You may have seen more than 20,000 pinwheels at Tower City.   The number represents the number of child abuse cases reported every year in Cuyahoga County.

In December, the Deck the House fundraiser will be held at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
