Cleveland Chef Earns Title Of “Chef Of The Year”

PEPPER PIKE, OH – The American Culinary Federation has just named a local Cleveland chef the 2012 Chef of the Year.

The ACF, a national organization of professional chefs, honored Scott Ryan yesterday in Florida. Ryan is the executive chef of The Country Club in Pepper Pike, Ohio. Ryan received his award in Florida during the 2012 ACF National Convention held in Orlando, Fla., July 14-17.

“It is an honor to be chosen as U.S.A.’s Chef of the Year™,” said Ryan to Fox 8 News. “I am truly blessed to have an amazing culinary, service and management team at the club as well as friends and colleagues.”

Ryan received $5,000 and the 2012 U.S.A.’s Chef of the Year award.
